The Business Operations Junior Manager plays a key role in supporting Ninja Van’s leadership team in enabling the rhythm of business to individual performance, specifically to Ninja Van Philippines. The role will also be responsible for orienting the growth of the organisation towards a shared direction, whilst honing effectiveness in communications, operational excellence, knowledge management and process improvement.
The position will sit within the Business Operations unit and will possess a strong grasp of the country’s strategy and goals, be familiar with the responsibilities of our business functions, partner closely with the Regional and Country stakeholders to align their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and advocate the use of data to drive objective performance conversations at every level of Ninja Van PH.
The team delivers against two functional pillars, namely 1. Core Operations (Data management for our KPIs/business metrics, program implementation and governance) and 2. Knowledge Management & Optimisation (Strengthen our internal policies and build advocacy through education and engagement).
Key activities include partnering with the Regional, Country management team, and Planning teams to manage the annual corporate strategic planning process across Ninja Van PH, leading the development of KPIs, engaging country management stakeholders through education and engagement, and general management of progress and timelines of key initiatives across the Ninja Van PH.

Main Duties

  • Support end-to-end annual goal setting process across Ninja Van PH
  • Support the identification of dependencies and key support areas across the organisation, and translate them into key metrics across the teams, Senior Management, and Country Management teams
  • Manage the KPI alignment process across the units
  • Work with the stakeholders on goal-related activities across the year
  • Alignment of KPIs across the team
  • Provision and accuracy of relevant performance data
  • Troubleshoot for any inaccurate and/or incomplete KPI performance data
  • Evaluate and improve internal knowledge databases, platforms and tools to ensure program policies and guidelines remain relevant
  • Be a sounding board to country stakeholders to design and improve effectiveness of business metrics in measuring outcomes
  • Execute activities under the KPI program, monitor progress against designated timelines and keep stakeholders informed
  • Constantly review and improve internal knowledge databases, platforms and tools to enable all parts of the organisation to conduct effective and data-driven performance reviews
  • Plan and execute key governance activities including in-year data reviews, KPI and data audits to uphold program relevance and integrity
  • Support new workflows, policies and guidelines within the Program
  • Formulate and execute training and education initiatives with stakeholders across Ninja Van PH
  • Conduct training/briefing sessions with the relevant teams
  • Work with the Regional Planning Team in implementing the Goals program within PH
  • Create and deliver on agreed communication plans with developed materials and engage key stakeholder groups in the capacity of an advocate of the program
  • Scoping and project management of key initiatives, as may be assigned.


  • 1-2 years of experience in business, finance or consulting environments
  • High level of self-motivation, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and drive. Able to proactively identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including experience in presenting business content to senior stakeholders, peers and general audiences.
  • Able to work independently with strong commitment and sense of urgency to deliver on agreed work products.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work across multifunctional teams and across geographies.
