Core Technology Team
As a member of our Core Tech team, you be part of the team that will build the next generation of apps in Yalo. We use cutting-edge technologies in the industry both for backend and front end development.
We’re looking for people that will bring different solutions to the table and work with increasing standards. You will also be able to explore any career path you choose: contributor or manager.
What are the activities of a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps?
- Support and enable the development teams to deploy updates and fixes to production systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Operate and improve our internal systems (Infrastructure and product services)
- Instrument critical infrastructure components to improve observability and reliability
- Implement and develop DevOps best practices, risk, and operational impact with other teams implementations.
- Perform root cause analyses of production outages.
- Leverage scripting and automation for standardization of the cloud resources (Infrastructure as code).
- Develop and test scripts to replicate production configurations (disaster recovery)
- Keep up with versions and/or configurations of the production systems
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Be part of the on call rotation for the systems owned by the DevOps team and support other teams when needed
If you meet the next experience this is your role don't hesitate. We want you on the team!
- Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
- 5 years of hands-on experience at least in one scripting and/or programming language
- 5 years of hands-on experience managing and provisioning infrastructure as code
- Minimum of 5 years working as a DevOps engineer and/or as an SRE
- Hands-on experience with: Kubernetes / Helm, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform
If you have the next skills and experience it will be a super plus:
- Ansible
- Golang experience
- AWS
- Argo ecosystem
